Ascolta ora su Radio Castelluccio “Fuego“, il nuovo singolo di Eleni Foureira!
Questa del 2018 è sicuramente un’annata, quella dell’Eurovision Song Contest, ricca di brani d’effetto. Ciò lo dimostra, oltre il grande successo di visualizzazioni su YouTube dei brani in gara, anche la fiducia che le etichette italiane stanno riponendo in essi. Infatti dopo Stones, il brano degli ZiBBZ in gara per la Svizzera, entrerà in rotazione radiofonica anche Fuego, la proposta cipriota di Eleni Foureira.
Soprannominata “la Regina del pop greco”, Eleni Foureira ha debuttato nella musica prima come parte del gruppo vocale femminile Mistique, per poi nel 2010 lanciare la propria carriera da solista, che esplode fin da subito grazie alla hit estiva Chica bomb. Nel 2014 ha poi preso parte ai Mad Video Music Awards con J Balvin: i due si sono esibiti in una travolgente performance del brano Tranquila (visibile qui). Fino ad arrivare allo scorso anno, con la pubblicazione del disco Vasilissa, un altro grande successo.
Oltre a calcare i palchi più importanti delle isole greche e cipriote, Eleni Foureira fa anche parte della giuria del talent show So you think you can dance, versione greca, e ha lavorato anche nel settore moda.
Fuego è un brano, come facilmente intuibile dal titolo, perfetto per l’estate, grazie alla sua carica e alle influenze folk che fanno svoltare il ritornello. Di certo all’Eurovision Song Contest farà divertire tutta la platea.
Come per gli ZiBBZ, anche la Foureira sbarcherà nelle radio italiane da venerdì sotto l’etichetta CDF Records, che ha sempre mostrato, anche negli anni passati, un forte interesse per i brani in concorso, tanto da decidere di portarli sulle frequenze italiche.
